KDAS combination sealing ring is a two-way acting piston sealing ring. This combination sealing ring is composed of an elastic rubber ring, two additional retaining rings and two wear-resistant rings. This design provides a compact combination of sealing and guiding, and is suitable for combined sealing rings installed in closed grooves. The combined sealing ring includes an elastic toothed sealing ring, two retaining rings and two wear-resistant rings. There is a real sealing element in the middle; a retaining ring and a wear ring are placed on each side. The retaining ring prevents the sealing ring from being squeezed into the gap; the sealing ring in the middle is a toothed sealing ring, which can play a good sealing role when it is stationary and moving. The function of the wear ring is to guide the piston in the cylinder and bear the radial force.

KDAS combination oil seal material:
1. Toothed sealing ring: nitrile rubber (NBR);
2. Retaining ring: green-blue polyurethane elastomer containing additives;
3. Wear ring: glass fiber reinforced thermoplastic polymer.

KDAS combination seals are often used as sealing elements in reciprocating hydraulic cylinders and pistons, such as light bulldozers, injection molding machines, blow molding machines, cranes, forklifts, hydraulic gates, and agricultural machinery.

1. Pressure: ≤25MPa;
2. Speed: * reciprocating speed 0.5m/s;
3. Temperature: -30℃~+110℃;
4. Medium: suitable for petroleum-based hydraulic oil, flame retardant hydraulic fluid, environmentally safe hydraulic fluid (bio-oil), water and others, depending on the material of the sealing ring.
KDAS combination oil seal surface finish requirements
1. Contact surface: Ra≤0.3um;
2. Bottom surface of groove: Ra≤1.8um;
3. Side of groove: Ra≤2.0
Action mechanism of KDAS combined oil seal:
All three sealing lips are located on the outer diameter. The two outer sealing lips act as additional seals, the middle sealing lip is wider and is the main sealing lip. The contact surface between the inner diameter of the sealing ring (static seal) and the bottom diameter of the groove is relatively wide. A retaining ring is placed on each side to support the elastomer and prevent it from extruding. This stepped retaining ring prevents rotation of the seal during operation.
